New Pics of Silver Lake, Dover, Delaware, at Night

Here are some new pics of the lights and reflections on Silver Lake I took tonight. There was a lot less wind so these are sharper. I haven't decided if I like the really sharp bulbs or the slightly blurry and larger more impressionist painting looking ones.

A few more from the fog

Here are a few more I did the other day, they are actually my favorites. I couldn't get picassa to upload them for some reason.

It was a little foggy tonight as I got off work, when I got back later, the fog had kind of dissipated, and left me the first two shots. After that I went out on the highway and noticed the restaurant sign. Spelling is not important when serving food!





 

Camden Delaware Christmas Lights

I was making a Wallys run the other night and saw these 2 homes in Camden that I wanted to try to get some pics of. The one on Main Street is much older than the other one. I might have to go back and see if I can't get sharper pics... I like the one with the lights going by, it can either be a metaphor for the speed with which the year is passing, or it can just be a cool pic. I like the one with the street light too. It reminds me of a painting, I think by Hopper, of a diner at night. Now I'll have to google that painting!





 

Photshopping the horses

I've been thinking the horses would look better if they were 'free', that is no fences around them. I think I did a decent job photoshopping the fences out.
