Thanksgiving at Loretta and Jim's

I took my camera to Thanksgiving dinner because I could and I wanted to do some photos to try some new techniques on. Anyways, I took all these with available light and my 50mm lens, generally wide open at F1.4. Nice buttery bokeh there!

Eva and I met up at the C&D canal today to do one of my caged model shoots. I'll be doing a blog for that series soon! Here are some of the shots we got. Modeling is tough business! It was like 40 degrees outside today, with a little breeze.

I love these shots! Ashley wanted to do something 'dark' with her prom dress. We bounced around some ideas, then I suggested using the cage. I think we knocked it outta the park!

Ashley and Stephanie (of the sunflower shots this summer) came to work with me in my new studio Sunday. They were awesome! Ashely wanted to do some fashion shots, and something a little darker... here are the fashion shots, more or less straight out of camera
