Race Day at the Wolanski Racing Team

We went racing today. The Massachusetts crew came down as they do every September. This is a tradition started quite a few years ago with my dad. We loaded 16 people into that truck!
The Golden Knights flew right over my seat at the track!

Under the sheets

We had Chinese from the takeout tonight with Mom, Sue and Bill. Tim tore the 4th one down by coincidence as he opened the cookie. I'll just leave it there!

Black and Whites = art

I was walking out of work today and noticed the shadows on the floor thought I'd try some shots. This is more a proof of concept. Notice the square crops. Black and white plus square crop equals art! I liked the eyeglasses one best.

Gotta love the end of summer strawberries and blueberries. I hate winter fakefruit!

JMU fans love the house up the street

The house up the street is beautiful. It's set on the lot so that when you come around the corner it faces the street just so. The owners have done a fabulous job with the plantings! That purple door is one of James Madison University school colors. The owner's son just started at JMU this year. I liked the door better as red, but, with the flowers and stuff, what the heck!

Things I think about while on the road

When you can't be a TV detective anymore, you open a Goodwrench Chevrolet Pontiac Dealership. I wonder how many thousand times they've heard that joke?

Braille Keypads?

Yeah.... so Iwas at the rest stop and wanted a snack. When looked at the keypad it had the braille dots on it... So...If you're blind enough to need braille... How can you seethe food you want, or the small numbers besides the prices? I saw the same thing at the drive up ATM machine at the bank. Do we want blind drivers doing their banking??

We saw the plan to make a planter like this in a magazine this spring. About $100 bucks later, here we are. I think its the best garden thing we did this year!
