I had her out this morning, and the light was awesome. I tried for some pics of the light in the woods, I'll see how they came out soon, but doncha just love a poodle?
This is a slight rework of the same pic I posted earlier. I like this better. I was looking for another pic and came across this and said "whoa"... I didn't remember posting the other version, that was full length.
Jorge came over for a party yesterday, I wanted to see what I could get of him on the bike. This came out ok. See if you can spot the photographer in the chrome!
I met up with some folks from my photography forum over in Fairfax Va this weekend and got the chance to shoot some bridal images with them and Sharon. Sharon was up for anything! We shot till after 1 am. There are many interesting folks in the Metro at 1 am... We were going to do a Trash the Dress, but time ran out! Maybe another day.
Andrea and Remi came down for a shoot a few weekends ago. You've already seen Remi's pics. I've been messing with Adobe Lightroom, figuring it out. One of the cool things you can do is use some "Presets" to apply to your photos and get some different effects. Once I did that, I used Picasa to make some collages. I think they're pretty cool!
Chrissy works in an office I was in. I met Chrissy when I asked her colleague if the colleague wanted any photos done. The colleague said, no, but Chrissy has modelled before. Anyways, we set up a time and here is the result. The top photo was more or less the Chrissy I met in the office. The rest are "Super model" Chrissy. She moved from pose to pose with little or no direction, just rocking the joint. I never would have recognized her without knowing it was her for the hair change for the last shot.
Remi came down with Andrea a little while back. I did some processing of the photos and here are some of my favorites, more to come! The last two are the same pic, different processing.
I was driving by this field a while back and it reminded me of Wyeth's famous painting "Christina's World" for obvious reasons. I hopped out and snapped this pic, thinking "I wish I had a model here!"
I went back out to the Wicked R Ranch today becuase it's been a while and I wanted to catch up with some folks. Melinda asked me if I could get a nice shot of Zorro, her relatively new horse. I'd say this suits the bill! I'd love to shoot the two of them when his coat is done shedding and we're in better light!
If I'm not at Chipotle, or thinking about it, I spend way too much time with my camera, or on the net learning about and talking about photography. You might as well benefit from all that time!
