State Fair at night

I love the colors at night, especially when they are moving. I like the jewel tones of the last picture on the spider ride with the moving red white and blue ferris wheel in the back.

I should be insufferable for the next few weeks, you know, being a prize winner and all for my artistic vision and mad photographic skillz. I took some pics at the fair tonight, I hope some of them are of the same quality as my other, prize winning ones. That is a high bar to cross, no doubt, but now that I'm a prize winner......

Three shots from the luncheon

I didn't know if i should post these pics or not. They were taken at the luncheon after my father's funeral. I decided he would have liked seeing them. The first one is of the pallbearers and my mom, and my aunt. The middle one is of a pair of great friends (to my dad, and to me) and I toasting my dad's memory with some single malt scotch. I think I've found a replacement for Mount Gay rum. The Mclellands is smooooooooooth and wonderful. It was good to toast him and enjoy the friendship. The last one is mom taking up where I left off.

State Fair Pics

I have signed up to enter color photographs in the Landscape (no buildings) (Fog pic) , insect close ups, flowers and birds categories. Since I can only enter one in each group, I need to decide which flowers I want to use, and which bird. Email me what you think I should do!
