Bombay Hook first thing in the morning

I got up early to day to see what I could get into photographically. I headed for BH hoping for big flocks of Snow geese jumping up. I got these instead.

This is as close as I've ever gotten to the way the sun shines through the seeds on the reeds at dusk, or dawn. I love the transient moment of the light, it feels nostalgic and dreamy to me....

I liked the layers on this one

Frost on the plant is cool!

I loved the first photograph in this series of Seeds on the Reeds. It reminds me of when I was a little girl and lived on the farm with my grandparents and the sun would shine thru the wheat stalks in this same type manner. You caught the exact feeling on film :)

That dreamy, not quite real, warm and fuzzy nostalgic feel was what I had in my mind's eye when I shot those photos.
